Forgot to bring swimwear? No worries. Venice beach also has a skate park, a bike trail and tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. There's no outdoor beauty like the kind you'll find at the beach.

Located on Rainbow Harbor, the Aquarium of the Pacific features a collection of over 11,000 animals, representing over 500 different species. Learn about the different sea life, as well as the importance of the ocean, its threats and conservation. You can also pet the sharks and stingrays at the Shark Lagoon attraction or feed nectar to lorikeets at the Lorikeet Forest.

Once owned by Paramount Studios, Paramount Ranch hosted a number of large-scale sets featured in movies and television shows dating from the golden age of cinema in 1927 to the final episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman in 1997. The majority of the sets have since been removed, but the set of a western town remains intact for visitors.
