Pack up your golf clubs and tennis rackets and get active in nature as you play a game of golf or tennis at Atlanta Memorial Park. The park stretches along Peachtree Creek, where the pivotal Battle of Peachtree Creek took place during the Civil War in 1864. The Queen Anne Victorian house is a perfect example of upper middle class living in the 20th century, and was home to Joel Chandler Harris from 1881 to 1908.
