Since 1987, the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair has been creating lots of fun for area families to experience while helping out a great cause. The volunteer staff puts together this festival every year and the funds raised from the rides, food and admission go to help youth-oriented causes in the greater Baton Rouge area. It happens every year at the State Fair Grounds and for 11 days, the celebration is all about food, music, games, shows and giving back to the community of Baton Rouge.

Since 1959, Circle Bowl has been racking 'em up for several generations of bowling lovers. Find your place on one of the 32 lanes and go for as many strikes as you can while the kids enjoy some time in "Action Alley," a dizzying game room that features the latest games and interactive fun. Circle Bowling is the perfect place to practice on your game by yourself or bring the whole family. Also, it's a great place for birthday parties, special events and fund raisers. See various thematic exhibits on the diverse aspects of Louisiana's colorful history, industry and culture. See artifacts from the original Louisiana Purchase, a Civil War Submarine and an amazing 48-foot wooden shrimp crawler. See a captivating exhibit on the history and traditions of Mardi Gras as well as the various cultural influences that made the food here so spicy!
