The Columbus Cultural Arts Center is the largest public gallery in Ohio. The center houses two distinctive galleries. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a world renown zoological park. The capital city zoo has a worldwide reputation due to its world-famous director Jack Hanna. The zoo houses over 5,000 animals representing over 700 species and welcomes over two million visitors each year to its famous animal kingdom. College sports excel at the Ohio State University. The Ohio State Buckeyes, men's and women's sports team shine in baseball, football, ice hockey, volley ball, tennis, soccer, golf, track, and swimming. The team holds a National Championship win in almost each sport and the Ohio Stadium, aka "The Shoe," is home court to almost six annual home games.
