Theatre Southwest continues its passion for performance with six productions, a Festival of Originals, and monthly workshops. The entertainment venue showcases seasoned performers and break-out talent. Cast your gaze into the wild-blue-yonder and encounter the Wings Over Houston Airshow, featuring the internationally famous and awe-inspiring US Navy Blue Angels. This event provides more than five hours of thrilling aerial shows from some of the greatest military and civilian pilots. Ranked as one of the top airshows in the country, it also offers ground attractions, such as simulators, ride-and-drive opportunities, and nearly 100 static aircraft to view. There’s even a play area for kids featuring a rock-climbing wall, inflatable slides and obstacles, carnival-style games, rides, and the NASA Driven to Explore Exhibit.

The Houston Zoo is home to more than 4,500 animals, with more than 900 species representing the seventh most-visited zoo in the nation. Explore the featured attractions, which include the Kipp Aquarium, The Fischer Bird Gardens, the Tropical Bird House, a Children's Zoo with a petting zoo and water playground, the World of Primates, the Wildlife Carousel, the McNair Asian Elephant Habitat, and the Reptile & Amphibian Building.
